Welcome to Meghan Sepe Weddings
I find each wedding I photograph a totally unique and unforgettable experience. The vibe of being surrounded by new people, new traditions, and all of the thoughtful, personal, impressive details that pull a wedding day together have become addicting. I am officially obsessed with the creativity and inspirations that come from these experiences and grateful my clients share their adventures with me.
I am based in Newport, RI but also available worldwide. Please check out my sister site for other work and personal projects: www.meghansepe.com
Naturally, Paetra thought she was going to Newport for a simple weekend getaway with her boyfriend to get out of the city, but Kevin had other plans. Paetra didn't suspect a thing, although she couldn't understand why he kept asking what she was going to wear...
The summer rain held off just in time...
Our time together was short but incredibly sweet. Congratulations, you two! Wishing you both all the best in NYC and beyond!
Exciting news!! We just accepted an exclusive invitation to be represented by the insanely gorgeous, talent laden, dream-worthy and endlessly inspirational RUFFLED blog.
At this time, we are their only Rhode Island photographer and incredibly honored by their request. I have been a huge fan of theirs for a long time and cannot wait to get your gorgeous weddings featured with them!
There's a lot of things that kick off summer just right. It can be the first time you notice the smell of fresh cut grass or maybe it's that first long, warm day when you look at the clock and can't believe it's still light out. This year, some friends and I decided to kick off the summer season with a little more wow factor and throw a friend the backyard birthday party to beat all backyard birthday parties.
I have to admit, we were all quite impressed by what we were able to pull off - especially on a realistic budget and all of us contributing in one way or another. Of course it helped we were able to use a friend's "shed" for the space, but even still, all of us pooling ideas and decorations helped keep costs in check while still upping the ante.
I won't be starting a party planning biz any time soon, but I loved being a part of this process and was more than happy to capture it all in photographs. Meaghan O'neill, head writer and blogger at Puddingstone Post (and party guest!), cracked her knuckles and got to work on a lovely writeup about all the fun. You can see the full feature and many snapshots of our gorgeous evening --> here.
The gorgeous calligraphy was created by my insanely talented sister, Jessica Allen. She's a professional illustrator and calligrapher
(just in case you need invitations or signage for your wedding. Which, of course you do!). Drop me a line for her info, you won't be disappointed.
Inexpensive DIY - ask friends to fork over their empty wine and champagne bottles or raid their recycling bins. Soak off the labels with warm water, dry, and spray paint the bottles metallic gold to repurpose as candle holders. These were a huge hit and so easy. They dry in 60 seconds and can be used again and again.

Out of the blue, I got a call from Fernando, a sweet young gentleman who
had a master plan of proposing to his girlfriend on a visit to Newport,
Rhode Island and wanted to know if I could help. I just love this
stuff. Being part of a secret "team" to pull off one of the most
exciting days of a person's life is truly an honor. Fernando had planned
things so seamlessly and so thoughtfully, Emily suspected nothing. Even when he got down on one knee, her first hunch was to wave him off for goofing around. Luckily, that didn't last very long - she was blown away!
It was one of the first truly beautiful Spring days here in New England.
Our time together was short and sweet but we had an absolute ball. I'm so happy for these guys!
And perfect timing, since we just got the fantastic news this morning that our latest feature with |Style Me Pretty| has just gone live! It's not only the sweetest surprise for me today but also for this awesome couple who are going to be over the moon to see their incredible day play out all over again... Because, as you can see, it was an incredible day. Congratulations, Emily and Dan!

There is so much more to see and read about their lovely summer day in the full feature...
