For Carly and Kyle Maher, love blossomed in Saturday detention. 

Who would have guessed back in high school that the Ridgefield, Connecticut, natives would end up together?

“We were together for about a year, and then Carly went to college in North Carolina, and I went to Purdue. We knew the stress from a long-distance relationship would make it hard, so we decided to stay close throughout college. We always knew we could end up back together.”

Sneak Peek :: Kirsten + Chris

We haven't been blogging much since we are still cranking at full speed through our 2014 season with a few busy months still ahead. But that doesn't mean we don't want to share every beautiful thing whenever we possibly can - which brings us to this sweet couple's spectacular Newport Rhode Island Castle Hill wedding.

There are hundreds more where these came from, but we couldn't wait to share just a few...

The Castle Hill lighthouse is a magical place. 

 

Kirsten oozes effortless style and simplicity...

What you can't see here was President Obama's helicopter flying above us right at this moment. Apparently, he had a meeting right down the street from where we were (but we think he was just cruising by to take a look at this gorgeous couple in the sunset. It's possible).
